DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE FOR KIDS

Begin a journey of architectural discovery with our engaging and creative hands-on classes designed for kids aged 7 to 12! Every week, young architects will explore the incredible worlds of famous architects and design concepts, growing their creativity through the creation of 2D drawings and 3D models. We transform learning into an exciting adventure, encouraging children to observe and appreciate their built and natural surroundings. As they learn about new concepts, their vocabulary blossoms and their fine motor skills thrive through the exciting process of drawing and model-making, just like real architects in the making!

All supplies will be provided and students will be able to take their models home.

Our curriculum is different every term so students can keep learning and creating with us!

Winter Term begins Jan 16th, 2026

What skills we’ll learn

  • Intro to Architecture
Students will get a glimpse into famous architectural styles, buildings, and architects. This will begin an appreciation for cultural history and the built environment all around us.

  • Advanced Spatial Awareness
By designing and building structures, students will learn to understand scale and perspective, enriching their spatial skills and grasp of geometry.

  • Strategic Problem-Solving
Students will be encouraged to use their critical thinking skills by learning to anticipate challenges, adjust plans, and create innovative solutions.

  • Real World Understanding
Through projects and discussions on building design and construction techniques, students will gain a tangible understanding of the concepts and processes involved in creating real-world structures centered around humans.
