TINY ARCHITECTS (intro class)

For ages 4-6 years old

In this class, for our youngest architects, we introduce children to the magical world of architecture, where they will play with geometric shapes, explore patterns, and let their creativity shine. As they build and play, not only will they build up their fine arts and motor skills, but they'll also discover fascinating tales about famous architects and iconic buildings.

This class will host a smaller group of 8 children maximum. All supplies will be provided and students will be able to take their models home.

What skills we’ll learn

  • Intro to Architecture
Students will get a glimpse into famous architectural styles, buildings, and architects. This will begin an appreciation for cultural history and the built environment all around us.

  • Spatial Awareness
Students will learn about shapes and how objects fit together, building an understanding of space and basic geometry.

  • Fine Motor Skills
Using tools like scissors and glue strengthens hand coordination and dexterity, which supports writing and other detailed tasks.

  • Problem-Solving
Designing and building structures encourages creative thinking and teaches resilience as students figure out how to make human centered designs.
