JOB OPPORTUNITIES
NORTH SHORE EDUCATOR
Are you an outgoing individual, with a love for arts and crafts? Do you love sharing your passion with children and can maintain a working environment in a classroom? Then bring your positive attitude and resiliency into a classroom as an Architecture and Design Educator!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and review lesson plans and corresponding material list requirements
Teach architectural workshops in schools and community centres in the North Shore area, sometimes online
Keep a good learning environment in the classroom
TYPE OF WORK:
Part time contract work to start, or COOP possible for 20 to 30 hours (must be enrolled in a university)
Available to work at least 3 days / week from 3pm to 7pm
Possible work on weekend
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluent in French and English is an asset
Ability to work with a sense of enthusiasm
1 year or more of experience working with children.
Background or strong interest in architecture and design.
Strong capabilities in crafts, drawing, and model making.
Self-motivated, passionate, approachable friendly, upbeat, and fun!
Criminal record check and Red Cross Certification will be required.
Must have reliable transportation (car preferred).
Formal teaching training is an asset but not required.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must have a laptop

COMMUNICATIONS & EDUCATION ASSISTANT - SUMMER INTERNSHIP
We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded Communications & Education Intern for Summer 2025. This position is perfect for a student passionate about architecture, design, and communications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in shaping our communications efforts (elevate our brand, create content, and engage with our digital community)
Interact with educators and students, supporting camp activities
Collect feedback (create/distribute surveys, collect and synthesize feedback, note trends)
Create reports: what worked/what didn’t, strategies for growth/improvement)
TYPE OF WORK:
Assist in developing and implementing a communications and marketing strategy for Petit Architect
Create engaging content for social media, blog posts, newsletters, and website
Assist in branding and outreach for educational programs, workshops, and design initiatives
Research trends in architecture, urban design, and entrepreneurship to inform strategy
Support in creating visual assets (graphics, presentations, promotional materials)
Assist with community engagement and partnership outreach
Prepare materials for camps
Support educators and campers in the camp environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently pursuing a degree in architecture, urban design, marketing, communications, or a related field
Passion for architecture, cities, design, education, and entrepreneurship
Experience with social media is considered an asset
Creativity and an eye for visual design
Self-motivated, organized, and eager to contribute ideas
Good with children (experience in an educational environment a plus)

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
We are looking for volunteers (age 15+) to support our workshops, camps, and classes in and around Vancouver.
TYPE OF WORK:
Volunteer
Half day to a whole week, up to you!
DATES NEEDED & LOCATION:
Pro d days all year round
Winter, spring, and summer camps
After school during the school year
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with a sense of enthusiasm
Prior experience in working with children is an asset
