Design a Shipping Container House
Ever dreamed of living in a tiny home that’s eco-friendly, stylish, and totally unique? In this creative STEAM camp, kids ages 7-12 will become architects for a day and design their very own shipping container house!
Campers will:
Explore sustainable living and learn how shipping containers can be transformed into amazing homes.
Sketch and plan their ideal tiny house, thinking about space, comfort, and creativity.
Build a 3D model using recycled materials, cardboard, and craft supplies to bring their designs to life.
Problem-solve like real architects—how to fit a bedroom, kitchen, and even a rooftop garden into a small space!
Share their designs with the group and explain their innovative ideas.
By the end of the day, each camper will have a model of their very own shipping container home and a new understanding of how design can make small spaces both functional and fun. No experience needed—just bring your imagination!
Perfect for: Young creators, future architects, eco-warriors, and anyone who loves to design and build!

Note: All supplies provided and students will bring home their model. Bring a nut free lunch, water bottle, and dress for the weather as we will go outdoors
