Design on a Lost Island
All aboard this creative adventure where we’ll design and build on our very own deserted island! Imagine an island tucked away in the far corners of a mystical ocean and let your imagination take over as you decide its features. Will it be a secret pirate cove with hidden treasure, an enchanted forest with a magical treehouse, or a luxury resort with cascading waterfalls? With endless possibilities, this workshop is a "choose your own adventure" where students can bring their island visions to life! Our young architects will be guided through every step, from planning their landscapes to constructing unique buildings that define their island’s story.
All supplies will be provided and students will be able to take their models home. Please bring a nut free snack, lunch and water bottle as well as an outdoor outfit (rainboots/coat or hat/sunscreen, comfortable shoes) as we will spend time outside.

APRIL 2025
Build a Mini Treehouse
This hands-on workshop invites young architects to explore the art of design by crafting their own miniature treehouses. Using a variety of recycled materials, students will learn about basic architectural concepts and techniques while crafting their models. The workshop focuses on sustainable design principles and encourages problem-solving and imaginative thinking, making it a perfect blend of learning and fun!
All supplies will be provided and students will be able to take their models home. Please bring a nut free snack, lunch and water bottle as well as an outdoor outfit (rainboots/coat or hat/sunscreen, comfortable shoes) as we will spend time outside.
