Classes for ages 7 to 12 years:
Where young designers explore architecture through creative building, drawing, and model-making, learning to think and create like real architects!
All materials are provided and students will take all their projects home.
Classes and projects are different every term so students can keep learning with us!
Please note: there are NO classes on the following dates:
Feb 13 (Pro D Day)
Feb 14-16 (Family Day)
Skills students will learn:
-
Students will get a glimpse into famous architectural styles, buildings, and architects. This will begin an appreciation for cultural history and the built environment all around us.
-
By designing and building structures, students will learn to understand scale and perspective, enriching their spatial skills and grasp of geometry.
-
Students will be encouraged to use their critical thinking skills by learning to anticipate challenges, adjust plans, and create innovative solutions.
-
Through projects and discussions on building design and construction techniques, students will gain a tangible understanding of the concepts and processes involved in creating real-world structures centered around humans.

CLASSES
Our architecture classes return with a new advanced class for returning students.
Design & Architecture for Kids
In this hands-on architecture class, young designers explore famous architects, design concepts, and real-world buildings. Each week, students build creativity and confidence through 2D drawing and 3D model-making. They’ll develop design vocabulary, fine motor skills, and an appreciation for the world around them, just like real architects in training!
This is an all levels class.
Advanced Architecture for Kids
Ready to take your design skills to the next level? In this advanced architecture class, students work on the same projects as Design & Architecture for Kids but dive deeper into design thinking and make more complex structures. Each week, young architects refine their 2D drawing and 3D model-making skills while exploring real-world architecture in greater detail. This class is ideal for those who have taken our classes before.
This is a more advanced class.
Design Thinkers & Makers
Step into the world of professional design with challenging, hands-on projects! Students tackle creative builds like lamps, playgrounds, furniture, and more while mastering the full design process—from ideation and prototyping to testing and making. With small class sizes and personalized guidance, each student develops advanced skills to bring their boldest ideas to life. This class is ideal for those who have taken our classes before.
This is our most advanced class.
