WINTER CAMP THEMES
Our hands-on architecture camps introduce kids to the exciting world of design, construction, and sustainability! Each camp explores a unique theme, combining creativity with real-world building techniques using eco-friendly materials.
Arctic Architecture
Journey to the Arctic and discover how architecture helps people thrive in some of the coldest places on Earth! In this hands-on STEAM camp, kids ages 7-12 will explore traditional homes, ingenious building techniques, and the cultures that have adapted to life in extreme winter climates. Through drawing, designing, and model-making, campers will learn how architecture can protect, inspire, and connect people to their environment.
Campers will:
Learn about Arctic cultures, traditional homes, and the unique challenges of building in cold climates.
Design and build 2D drawings and 3D architectural models using a variety of creative materials.
Discover how architects and builders use insulation, shape, and local resources to create warm, resilient homes.
By the end of the camp, each camper will have a deeper appreciation for how architecture responds to climate, culture, and the natural world. No experience needed, just bring your curiosity!

Please bring nut-free snacks, lunch and water, and be dressed and ready for the elements. We will go outside for breaks/lunch/games, weather permitting.

Winter Wonderland Architecture
Step into a magical winter world where architecture meets creativity! In this hands-on STEAM camp, kids ages 7-12 will design cozy cabins, sparkling winter villages, glowing lanterns, and snowy landscapes while exploring the principles of architecture and design. Through sketching, model-making, and creative problem-solving, campers will discover how thoughtful design can make winter spaces both beautiful and functional.
Campers will:
Explore winter-inspired architecture, from charming A-frame cabins to festive seasonal structures.
Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using a variety of artistic and building materials.
Learn how architects design warm, welcoming spaces that embrace the beauty and challenges of winter.
