Architecture Around the World

Take a trip around the world through architecture! Kids will explore the fascinating world of regional and traditional architecture and discover how communities around the world have designed homes.

Dream Houses

Design and build your perfect home! Imagine creating a home that’s completely your own, from a cozy bedroom to a secret hideout, a game room, or even a chef-worthy kitchen! Kids will become architects, interior designers, and builders as they create their dream home from the ground up.

Happy City

Design a joyful, sustainable community! In this hands-on STEAM camp, kids will become urban planners and architects for the week by designing their own Happy City, a place where people, nature, and fun come together!

Beautiful Boutiques

Design your dream boutique! Kids will dive into the world of retail design. Campers will explore the creative process of designing a boutique from start to finish, whether it’s a cozy bookstore, a whimsical candy shop, a trendy shoe store, or a luxurious skincare boutique.

My daughter had a lot of fun at the Design your own House week-long camp. She loves building things in her free time, so this camp was right up her alley. She appreciated all the materials and tools they have to work with as well as the reference books available. Her only suggested improvements are more time to build and more rooms to design!

Overall a positive experience driven by the quality of instructors/facilitators and structure of camp. The kids appeared to have developed rapport amongst themselves over the week and were able to collaborate to build a ‘city’ display which had a number of impressive elements to it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ages are camps for?

Our summer camps are designed for kids ages 7-12, with activities tailored to different skill levels and creative interests.

Do kids need prior experience?

Not at all! Our camps are beginner friendly and designed for all creativity levels, whether your child already loves design or is trying it for the first time.

What should campers bring?

Campers should bring a packed lunch, water bottle, and comfortable clothes they can move in. We recommend dressing for outdoor time and crafting activities.

Are materials included?

Yes! All building materials, art supplies, and project tools are included in camp registration.

Are camps indoors?

We typically have lunch outside and do some active play to move our bodies. Weather depending, we try to do an outdoor architecture activity in the afternoon.

What is your cancellation policy?

Camps located at community centres are subject to their policies. For camps located at our studio in St Mary’s, read the full policy here.
